URGENT REQUEST:

Pray for advancement to be stopped, for international influence of ISIS to cease.

PRAY FOR ISIS

Pray that, like Paul, that many would have Damascus road experiences.  Pray that in the presence of Jesus’ light all darkness would flee, and that the light of Christ would expose all lies and reveal Jesus.

Pray that the church wouldn’t just sit back and watch a physical war take place, but that they would fight with the most powerful weapons: prayer, fasting, and love. Pray that the church throughout the world would follow Jesus’ command to love and pray for their enemies.

Pray that ISIS would encounter God and cause them to hunger to really know who He is, asking “Who are you, Lord?”

Pray that ISIS members would be willing to give up all their preconceptions to truly know God in an intimate way, and to see His glory in all its fullness.

Pray that ISIS members would respond like Isaiah who, in the presence of the Lord, saw his own dirtiness and cried out for mercy. Pray that they would see their uncleanness and would cry out for mercy. Pray that they, too, would find the cleansing power of God through Christ.

Pray that ISIS members would be able to hear God’s voice. Pray that the voice of the Lord—whether loud or very quiet—would be heard clearly and that members of ISIS would obey. Pray that God would speak to them in the specific way that they need, just like He did to Paul and Elijah.

Pray that God would thwart evil plans and instead use them for good!

Pray that each time members of ISIS try to curse or destroy others, it would bring about a blessing instead. Pray that evil plans to tear down would build up, that plans for death would bring life, and plans of hatred would bring love. Pray that in their frustration they would see the hand of God thwarting their plans and that they would surrender to His will and ways.

Pray that God would come to ISIS members in dreams and visions. Pray for large-scale dreams and visions—even that whole groups would have the same dream or vision at the same time. Pray for God to release His wonders among them so that they will call on His name and be saved.
