Afghanistan has been in turmoil since the early 1980s. From a civil war to the violent regime of the Taliban, there risen an entire generation knowing nothing but war. Like other Asian countries of the region, it's location has made it an attractive land of invasion by other nations. Afghanis are fierce defenders of their country, but tribal loyalties have caused inner conflict and contention. Since the U.S. military invasion, a working government and military are slowly taking shape. Prayer is need that this nation sees peace that it long has needed.

Prayer Focus Points

  • Bind Islam in the name of Jesus.
  • That God would to continue to guide the leaders of the new government.
  • For open doors of personal ministry to hungry Afghani Muslims.
  • God would send laborers to the harvest field of Afghanistan.
  • For a generation of Afghani youth who can reach their nation.
  • Protection of Christian believers in Afghanistan.
